  • Pitching Notes: Ryan O'Malley supported the old adage today that its better to be lucky than good. He got the win depsite having a pretty mediocre outing, 5 innings pitched, 5 runs, 9 hits 1 walk, 3 Ks. Clay Rapada pitched 2 hitless innings to pick up the save.

Blevins picked up the win while Henderson got his 4th save of the season.

  • Hitting Notes: Kyle Reynolds accounted for all of the offense, hitting a solo HR in the 5th. Daytona did their best Peoria impersonation, getting 4 hits.
  • Beloit 4 - Peoria 2
  • Pitching Notes: Ale Maestri got his second start of the season and didn't fare too well, allowing 4 runs (2 earned) in 3.2 innings. He surrendered 3 hits and 1 walk while striking out 3. • Hitting Notes: Its hard not to make light of the hitting woes that Peoria has been going through pretty much all season. It will be interesting to see how this team evolves over the course of the season. Peoria managed 4 hits today. Josh Lansford, James Adduci and Dylan Johnston each had doubles. Matt Camp had the other hit, drove in a run and also scored 1 run.
