Any Cubs fans in Huntsville, Alabama?

Just moved to the Tennessee Valley and am looking for some people to watch the Cubs game with. I haven't really found any folks around here who are into baseball at all and the ones i have found are Braves fans.

I am thinking of heading to Indigo Joes. Is that a good place to watch a game?

Anyone who is interested shoot me an e-mail at Griff5479@aol.com.

Nope.
Little Rock girl.  But getting to Tennessee is easy if you want to watch a minor league match.

Athens, AL
I lived in Athens for about 33 years, its a great area. Indigo Joes is a good place to watch sports. Just wear a Cubs hat around, you will run into some fans. I moved to Nashville two years ago and I am stuck with another Brewers affiliate, but I do get to see the Iowa Cubs twice a year.

And they play
the Tennessee Smokies a lot, who are the Cubs affiliate.  You can see the Cubs AA team a lot in Huntsville.

Now you're talking.
If I'm going east and farther south, it'll be for the Cubbies.  Interesting possibility.

You'd be surprised how many Cub fans
you'll find down here in the South. We're here in Chattanooga and have quite a few Chicago transplants (haven't met one ChiSox fan amoung them).

The Lookouts (Reds AA) plays here.

Tuscaloosa
though I have family in Huntsville.

As a side note, I've been intending to register here for some time and this diary was the clincher.  Just wanted to throw my hat in as a Cub fan in Bama.

Welcome to BCB
Seems to be quite a few Alabama and Tenn readers here. I used to go to a lot of the Stars games versus the DiamondJaxx back in the day. Now the Cubs AA affiliate move east. Not a bad trip from Huntsville  if you want to see the other sights in the Knoxville area too.

I'd suggest Finnegan's Pub on South Parkway, right in front of the Hollywood 18 theater... Irish pub with cheap beer, and not usually very loud.
