Well, that Inside Edge scouting report in the Pirates batting cage certainly didn't seem to help them very much tonight. Ted Lilly was dominating, and just about everyone contributed to some degree on offense in a decisive 7-1 Cubs victory that wasn't really competitive after the third inning.
Despite the criticism a couple of days ago, the Jones-Ward lineup seems to be doing fine, and I only noticed one ball (Bautista's double in the sixth) where a better defensive outfielder may have made a difference. I expect that Lou will be working them in more often as well - and that's not a bad thing if it helps to put overall team performance ahead of individuals.
