Snarky's Machine

Tom Snarkey is a diary cop in Chicago who's demoted to lurking after a botched comment. In the depths of this lowly division...

Anyway, I miss baseball already. I'm finding myself reading all these sites talking about signings, trades and rumors of trades.

While we wait for more actual games to be played what do you all plan on doing with this new found free time?

LOL
You forgot "All of the above" as a poll choice!

Yeah... poll newbie
I tried to edit the poll to fix both that and the typo in #2 (win should be will) - but no luck.

Actually
I had selected "Allow multiple selections" but it seemed to ignore that check box.

I fixed the typo.
The other thing -- the "multiple selection" thing -- that's a glitch in the system that's supposed to be fixed when we get the site redesign that's coming later this summer.

You must live near Chicago still
I banished myself to the South some time ago and only get to visit the homeland a few times a year.

I regret it only during the summer when it's too hot to think straight and I only get to attend a game or two at Wrigley.

When I visit my folks I'm reminded that there's like four TV stations or more devoted to Chicago sports. I'm happy to get WGN here and catch what else I can online or via the other "sports" networks.

I can't believe
there's even a basketball summer league, that is televised? Jeez, is it me, or has basketball just gone too far. Isn't the 10-month season long enough? It's July!

I know, my opinion is jaded. I was never a big basketball fan, and I quickly realized the only reason I ever paid attention to the Bulls at all was because of Mr. Jordan. Once that run was over, I was out.
