I agree with Bruce Miles....

It's too late to dwell in the past to look forward to the future. New owner(s) or not, NOW is the time to sign Zambrano. With Buehrle off the market, Big Z is the premier free agent.
The front office has messed around and now it is possible that we will lose Zambrano. Food for thought. The last few years we put so much emphasis on Prior and Wood, we've forgotten about the mistakes the front office has made. Hear me out. (some of the is my personal opinion)
When Grace was "let go", look how long it took to find a viable replacement in Lee. The revolving door in right sice Sammy has gone. A hot tepered catcher in Barrett, since the loss of Jody. We'll never be able to replace Sandberg.
Third? We've got Ramirez, but who was the last good 3rd baseman? Santo? At short? Ernie? How about pitching? Maddux the first time?
Eerie enough, that's exactly what everyone in the managment should look at. The first time we lost Maddux. We surely paid for it watching him become one of the best if not the best pitchers in the game. We can't afford to lose Zambrano.
No time to second guess. Start buttering him up now, or he's good as gone after the World Series.
