ESPN's All-Time Gold Glove team
Not sure if this has been mentioned, but ESPN has article on the All-Time Gold Glove team (voted on by the fans) http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2985977. I think if ESPN's experts/writers voted, the results may've been somewhat different. Sandberg was beaten out by none other than our old buddy, Joe Morgan. Not exactly sure why, as Morgan only won 5 gold gloves. In addition to Sandberg, I think I'd rate Frank White higher than Morgan, too.

1b-john kruk/tino martinez/eduardo perez

ss-fernando vina(had to make room for joe)/larry bowa
3b-ray knight
of-rick ankiel

p-orel hershiser(he was a damn good pitcher though)
Joe Morgan campaigns.
A better analyst than Morgan?
LOL
I could scream
Hawk and DJ railed on list today
Keith Hernandez set the standard at 1B, not Wes Parker.
Interesting/fun exercise but no good way to measure defense, historically...Clemente, Mays were obvious but acc to Hawk there might have been better defensive catchers than Bench, too.

ESPN
This was a fan vote, which means any idiot who wants to cast a ballot can. On the other hand, the fans didn't give a Gold Glove to a DH like the managers and coaches did with Rafael Palmeiro a few years ago.
