Cubs fans It can be alot worse...ALOT WORSE

We all know how bad it was to see Alfonso Soriano limp off the field last night, en route to our 8-3 loss to the Mets. But things can be alot worse my fellow Cubs fans. Much Worse.

250 miles to the Soutwest one particular Red and White team was dispatched in 3 games by the lowly Washington Nationals, and people in St. Louis are wondering where the magic from the 2006 season went?

Yes we as long suffering Cubs fans wish we could have tasted the victory that our rivals to the Southwest felt in 2006, but Doesn't if feel good to wake up in the morning, open up the newspaper and read that the Cardinals are sucking it up down there?

The only thing that could be better is to open up that same newspaper and see the White Sox doing worse..... Oh wait...

The point of this is to say hey guys, we are a game out, A game, not 8, not 10. 1 game that can be made up and made up rather quickly I might add.

Now, im not saying that we are going to have a cake walk the rest of this season, but if Milwaukee's lousy play the last few weeks has shown me anything, it is that theres one team in the NL Central thats wounded. And it sure as hell isn't the Cubs. Lets hope Rich Hill gets those Astros tonight!!
