Tennesse Smokies

I'll be at every TN Smokies game next week as they're in town to play the Chattanooga Lookouts.

Other than taking special interest in Tyler Colvin, Jeff Samardzija and Donnie Veal is there anyone else  you all would like photos of or special attention given to?

I'll post a photo collection each night at http://www.flickr.com/photos/11058250@N04/

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of SB Nation or Al Yellon, managing editor (unless it's a FanPost posted by Al). FanPost opinions are valued expressions of opinion by passionate and knowledgeable baseball fans.

Awesome!
Mark Holliman is having a great year down there, if he pitches in this time period.

Yea please post reports!!
Anxious to hear what we've got goin down there...long-term major needs at C (is that where Fox is now?? Is he catching) and RF (Colvin looks like the future there, but not for a few more years).

Love the daily minors report here hope you can expand on it!! Good luck

Geovanny Soto
is the future catcher and he's in Iowa right now

the long long term future catcher could be considered Josh Donaldson but he was just drafted this year

Fox no longer catches...
he's played 1B and OF all year.  Soto is our only high-level catching prospect.

Colvin is a promising prospect, but he has a lot of work to do.  His K/BB rate is alarmingly bad.

I think
that Colvin is currently injured.
