Around SBN: Raiders' GM Begins The Purge

the other guys who bleed blue

My friends: the Dodgers, that team with an identical record as the Cubs, were just shut out IN A 3 GAME SERIES by the CINCINATTI REDS!

3 games no runs.

I doubt they're jumping off Chavez Ravine, even if they couldn't buy a run since Sunday. Maybe we should learn a thing or two from them. The Cubs are struggling, yes, but they need our support to help them get it going again. Not just by showing up at Wrigley and guzzling OldStyle, but by being "chin up" at this here message board.

That is all.

The Dodgers...
another team with no "pop." A coincidence we both get shut out by teams with some power?
The deadline has come and gone. Looks like our Triple A Hall O Famers will have to lead us to the promise land.

Seriously?
Do Lou and the players check this blog before games to get themselves ready to play? Blogs are kind of about people having an outlet to criticize and moan and groan, knowing it is only an outlet to do so and does not affect the real world. I mean, my wife can only listen to me bitch about the Cubs so much, god bless her.

That said, I hope this losing stretch lasts only a couple more games, then the winning can start again.

I thought this was a blog to express ourselves.
If all you want is endless rooting, cheer and no criticism, I suggest you read Muskat, instead. I think civilized discussion should be encouraged here. Let other media handle the Cubs' PR.
