A Cub Fan's Music Playlist

This weekend it became harder and harder to believe. It also became harder to watch the news, pick up the newspaper, turn on the radio, talk to co-workers (sox or other fans). But we're all still here right?

I originally posted this diary as a pregame warmup to yesterday's mashing of the Cards, but there's never a bad time for some Chicago Cubs tunes.

Feel free to post your own!!!

Hey Lou Piniella....
...I've had that stuck in my head for weeks!

Me too!
I have a link to it on my myspace page, so anytime I am on there, I listen to it. It's so bad that I don't even sing the real lyrics even when the real song is on the radio! What a fabulous creation by some awesome fans.

i like the attitude
hopefully the cubs are staying positive too.
Matt Murton career in September: .321/.401/.576, 10 jacks (165 ab). Make sure Matt the Bat gets in the lineup this month Lou!

If that doesn't make you feel proud to be a Cubs fan, nothing will.

One minor correction, FYI
The MP3 for "What I Like About You" shows the Ramones as the artist. That song was, of course, performed by the Romantics, not the Ramones.

Come to think of it, though, I think the Ramones could have probably done a pretty damn good version of that song. Gabba gabba hey...

MP3 Addresses
Hey - can you guys post the .mp3 address for the YouTube links?  I can't access that site from work (freakin' firewalls!) but want to listen!

Thanks.

It's opposite for me
I can access youtube for a max of an hour a day, but direct mp3 links are blocked.

Hands down
Goodman's Dying Cubs Fans Last Wish is the one I relate to the most. Comical but sad all rolled up into one song.
