Playoff Songs...

Watching today's WGN broadcast, they played a song (which they later identified as "This Will Be My Year", by Semisonic) that really hit me.  What songs  have "playoff" themed titles?  I would love to make a playlist to put on my iPod, but I just can't think of any more songs!  Any songs other than the cliche (but ALWAYS appropriate) "Go Cubs Go!" would be nice.  I feel like there are a bunch, but I've gone brain dead. Please help me!   Update [2007-9-23 18:14:33 by cubs2234]: What I currently Have: 1. Right Now-Van Halen 2. This Will Be Our Year-Van Halen 3. This Will Be My Year-Semisonic 4. Who Killed Tangerine- Tears for Fears (the song that goes, "It's not over" again and again)

I found
on iTunes another song by Steve Goodman titled "When the Cubs Go Marching In". I'm surprised this has not gained popularity yet. Perhaps JRoman should do a remix of this song with current players.

Video Tribute on WGN
Does anyone know the band name/song name that was the background music of the video tribute they played before and after today's game on WGN?

I'll stick
with Stevie Goodman's "Go Cubs Go".

Of course ...
If someone is really into digging about in a store that carries old records, I suppose we could use 1984's "Men In Blue," though the players--obviously--aren't the same.

It would be a hoot if this year's crop of Cubbies tried a re-make, though I think Lou would have their hides.

Live to Win
By Motorhead. From the 2nd verse...

"They've got the power now,
But soon it's our hour now,
We all know where we've been,
All we do is Live To Win"

Your results may vary.

re: Live to Win
A Motorhead reference on BCB?!

God bless you, sir!!!

Play me "Ace of Spades" before an at-bat and I could probably take one out onto Waveland.

Don't tase me, bro!

I concur.
There's a reason I've got that whole album on my mp3 player I wear at the gym. If that record can't get you fired up, you must be dead.
Your results may vary.

Pearl Jam
"Someday We'll Go All The Way"...Eddie Vedder sang this song about the Cubs at the Vic a few weeks ago. You can find it on YouTube...does anybody know where you can download this as an mp3? It's really cool...

"Dreams" by Van Halen.
The ONLY time I want to hear that song is blasting from the top floor of some 2-flat as I'm walking down Addison street in the dark after a Cubs playoff win, riding high on a cocktail of endorphins and Old Style.
