Ticket Exchanges: National League Division Series

Use this post judiciously.

By that I mean -- if you don't have tickets and really, truly, really want to go, post a reasonable request. And if you have extras that you'd like to go to a deserving BCB reader that doesn't have them and you are willing to part with them at face value, post them here.

Also, if you have available tickets for any games in other cities that could involve the Cubs, or want them, you can also post them here.

I don't want to be too much of a hardass here, but please note the following:

  • Individual diaries or comments requesting tickets will be deleted without notice.
  • I reserve the right to delete this entire post if things get too out of hand.
And remember, there's still another round or two, we hope, of the postseason. If you didn't get lucky and get tickets yesterday, maybe you will next time.

UPDATE [2007-9-29 10:51:37 by Al]: You can also use this post for trading tickets to any Cubs road games in the Division Series.

Arizona tickets
I'll be in Arizona for the first game of what looks like the opening round series on October 3.  If anyone has extra tickets or a line on the best way to get tickets, I'm interested.  Let's paint the place blue.

Arizona Tickets
Here is their information: http://arizona.diamondbacks.mlb.com/ari/ticketing/postseason_2007.jsp

Looks like they are expecting to be able to sell tickets to the general public.

Good Luck.

October 6th tickets
I'd like to drive up from Peoria on Saturday the 6th to see the Cubs sweep the NLDS.  If anyone has any extra tickets, I'd be most appreciative.

I'll happily take extra tickets of anyone's hands.
My son discovered his cubbie love this year, and would really like to go.

Looking for playoff tickets...

True story.  My 90 year old grandmother died this year in Iowa.  We talked baseball and the Cubs on her deathbed, one thing we shared dear over all her grandchildren.  We shared road trips from Iowa, long phone conversations over the George Bell trade, etc. For sentimental reasons, I'd sort of like to go to a playoff game in her memory.

Anyway, I'm looking for a ticket or two so I can take my dad.  Like almost everyone else in the world, I tried forever to get tickets yesterday.  I realize how prized these tickets are, but if you have an extra one, I'd appreciate the opportunity to buy it from you.

Thanks!
Phil in Iowa

I have 2
I have 2 tickets for the 2nd home game. Bleacher Aisle 305 (left center, right between Soriano and whichever CF is lucky to play that day) Row 4 seats. Yes Bleachers will actually we assigned seats!!!   I am interested in trading down to get 4 tickets.  If there is anyone interested in trading cash and 2 tickets for 4 tickets (i want to bring my grandparents and my lady friend, right now it is just me and the lady friend going). This is a serious request. I would love to stay in left field with the other left field regulars, but more interested in bringing the two biggest (and possibley oldest) Cub fans in the world.

Do you have season tickets?
That is, do you have the right to buy tickets for later rounds of the playoffs?  I might be willing to trade multiple tickets to the first round for one ticket to the WS.

nope
No I dont have access to season tickets. I was just one of the lucky ones to catch the tickets before they sold out.  I was hoping to catch someone on here that did and was willing to trade since they would already have access to later games. (since we all know the cubs are going to win the WORLD SERIES)

I Have 1
I have a single ticket for home game 2 of the NLDS.  It is in section 516.  I'm looking to get a couple standing room only for either game. If a trade is worked out cash could be in the exchange as well.....thanks!

Question on sec 431
Looking for some help from those who know Wrigley better than me, I have a possibility of tickets in sec 431 but I was around there a few years ago and was right behind a TV camera, not a problem for me but it was for my young son -- does anyone know the section(s) where the cameras are located?   Thanks.

Trade?
I have 4 tickets to Home Game 2 in section 239 and I'm looking to trade 2 of them for 2 tickets to Home Game 1.  I'm proposing this simply because I would like to go to both games.  If anyone is in a similar situation with 4 tickets to Home Game 1 and would like to trade 2 for 2 straight up please email me.

Trade ?
I have 4 tickets to Home Game 2 in Section 202 and would like to trade 2 of them for 2 tickets to Home Game 1.  If anyone is interested, please let me know or e-mail me at cgatz@tampabay.rr.com

Anyone interested in Arizona tickets?
I have extras to Game 1 and Game 2 of the NLDS in Phoenix, which may well involve the Cubs.  I am willing to sell them for face value ($66 each) to other Cub fans.  However, I will list them on ebay as soon as Sunday if there isn't interest here.  We may know by tonight that there will be a Dbacks/Cubs matchup.

Email me at zambranofan [at] sbcglobal {dot} net.

You can also buy tickets yourself directly.  The games are not yet sold out, and went on sale to the public today.

Need one ticket
I'm thinking about coming into Chicago next weekend from MSP.  I'm looking for one ticket in sections 523-528 or standing room only.  Thanks.

Looking for ONE, only
Just for me. Cub fan since 1968 (long suffering as are many of us). For GAME ONE at Wrigley.

Preferably decent location, no obstructions.

Don't mind paying over face, within reasonable limits, depending on location.

Trade! My Game 2 for Your Game 1 - 4 Bleachers
I have four (4) tickets for the Game 4 (Home Game 2) at Wrigley - Bleachers, Section 337 Row 5, that I cannot use due to my running of the Chicago Marathon.

I want to trade my 4 bleachers on Sunday for your 4 similar tickets on Saturday, NLDS Game 3 (Home Game 1).

Send me an email at brfry@aol.com if you are interested. I can meet downtown on Saturday anytime to exchange tickets.

Thanks!

There is a Grilled Chicken restaurant called Torihiro in Urasoe, Okinawa, where all kinds of baseball industry people get together. I found Dome's autograph in Japanese characters on the wall (lower left one, click here to enlarge) when I visit there to celebrate my friend won the regional high school baseball tournament for National Tournament in Koshien on last Sunday.

It is written entirely in Japanese vertically, reads "07.2.14, for Torihiro, Chunichi Dragons, Fukudome Kosuke #1", when he visited the restaurant on his off-day in 2007 Dragons spring training in Chatan, Okinawa.
I was messing around with an image stitching app and came up with this extreme widescreen view of Wrigley (a Dodger game in 2005). I liked the way it turned out and figured I'd share it.

Did anyone see the front page of the Trib. sports section today. There is a huge picture of Favre in a Bears jersey.

Does this totally freak anyone else out? My mind doesn't even know what to do about it.
