Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

It's always sunny in...............

I've told this to Al and a few others here.  The only non-Philadelphia team I root for is the Cubs.  I take a vacation to Wrigley every summer and I have season tickets to the Eagles and Flyers.

I had tickets to the pre-season Flyers game tonight at 7.  Since all the stadiums in Philadelphia are in the same place, parking was going to be a mess today with the Phillies playing at 4.  I got to park for free since the lot people thought I was coming late for the Phillies game.

I stopped off at McFaddens, which is a bar at Citizens Bank Park that you can get into without a ticket. Hung out there before the Flyers game.  The Phillies fans were dying with every pitch and it did not help that the Phils did not pull through today.

My point is this.  Be grateful Cubs fans we don't have to worry about a playoff or "blowing" it on the last day of the season.  With the history of Philadelphia sports teams behind them, people are worried about game 162 tomorrow and if there is a playoff on Monday.

I hope the Phils pull through because if they play the Cubs in the playoffs I can get tickets.

It's nice to clinch a few days before the end of the season.

One Day Play Off
Anyone have any idea if there are one game playoff... if it'll be televised. Does ESPN maybe have it?

Any regular season tiebreakers...
... would be televised by TBS. Game times, obviously, cannot be set until it is known what teams are involved.

It's always interesting...
when they have multiple events at once in South Philly. I remember a day in September '99 when the Flyers were at the FU Center, Phillies at the Vet and Springsteen at the Spectrum. So you had strange things like the Phanatic sneaking out of the Vet and bopping in the front row of the Springsteen concert.

I think..........
if there is a playoff, the Phillies play at 3pm or 7pm. on Monday..

I did get easy parking for a pre-season Flyers game. Wish this was the case for the Hawks in Chicago.

It doesn't matter to me but for the sake of my family and the tri-state area it better be early this Monday!!!!

I'm ready for the D-Backs but all my relatives are waiting for the Padres or the team of out of the NL West.

Do any Cubs fans want to meet up for the NLDS this upcoming week?  Let me know!!!
