Who's Going to Arizona?

Assuming things pan out in the next couple of hours, I'm going to be flying out Tuesday night for the first two games of the NLDS.

Tickets are still available through the Diamondbacks web site.  I assume they'll sell out once the Cubs are announced as the official opponent.  I have some extras I'll probably sell on ebay for around face value.

I'm thinking the first game might be in the afternoon.  If so, some of us could meet up after the game.  If you're going to be at the Arizona games, post your plans or Q&A here!

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of SB Nation, Bleed Cubbie Blue, or Al Yellon, editor-in-chief. FanPost opinions are, however, valued expressions of opinion by passionate and knowledgeable baseball fans.

Going home...
First time post.

I am a Seattle based Cubs fan who grew up in Phoenix. I am going to AZ for both games and can't believe that I will be making the trip for Cubs baseball in October and not March!

Perhaps we could meet up at Marjle's or Cooper's Town. That is about as good as it gets for downtown eateries.

I wish I could
But no chance to go during the week.  If the Cubs make the NLCS vs. Philadelphia, I'm supposed to be in DC the day of Game 3, and will find a way to get to Philly.
It's a simple question, Doctor: would you eat the moon if it were made of ribs??

Afternoon?
Nah, first game will probably start after the primetime game is my guess.

Wish I could ...
But work is forcing me to attend Custer Week in Monroe, MI.  I need some cheese crisps from Macayo's, however!  Really bad.

Ya just can't get good Sonoran food here in Arkansas.  And I miss the Superstitions.

I grew up in Scottsdale/Flagstaff and attended Arizona State, a team that is now #18 in the polls!

Looking at driving out from LA
Depending on the game times, I might try to get out for one of the two games. Here's hoping for Wednesday evening and Thursday day.

Marquis in hot water?
Sullivan at the Trib is speculating that Jason Marquis might not make the roster after his performance today (and all month).

Oops
Wrong thread.

Hey Zambrano Fan
If you are so inclined, I might be willing to buy one of your tickets, depending on when the games are.

OK, here's the deal on my tickets
I ordered four for each game in the lower level, Sections 202-203 down the RF line, at a cost of $66 each ($60 face plus fee).  They are e-tickets, with my name on them.  It appears my wife's relatives will be out of town, and I'll be staying with one of their friends, who isn't interested in baseball.  I then figured I'd have to sell all four together, because they are all in one pdf file.  So I also got one cheaper seat to each game: $36 and $41, also e-tickets.  But I'd be happy to sell all but one set to BCB people at face value.  I've pointed out to people that there are still tickets for sale through dbacks.com, if you just want a single or a cheap seat, so I'm not trying to make money.

tharr has emailed me that he would probably buy one ticket for each game so we could sit together.  If Ross or anyone else wants to inquire, my email is zambranofan [at] sbcglobal {dot} net.

I can wait until Monday to see who's interested, and I would just sell the rest on ebay as pickup only.  I don't know when we'll know the time of games, so I'm flying into Phoenix Tuesday night.

Cubs playoff record with me in attendance: 1-0

Hey everyone...
... I'll be there too. Got seats in the lower deck in section 135.

Anyone who's there, see you there!!
