I got it bad

Here's My House

on Sunday morning.

Star-divide

My wife and kids were all laughing at me last night at 10:00 when I was out there on a ladder putting the W up.

Bet you
hate when the Cubs are on a west coast swing. Even harder to hang W at midnight.

My friend
My friend did that and someone wrote a nasty message on it thinking she was pro Bush.
This is going to be the fall and winter of our content in Chicago.

I just hope...
...you're a responsible W flag flyer. I live in Arlington Heights, and there are several homeowners in my neighborhood that choose to fly the flag. Obviously, as a Cub fan, I support their efforts. But I'm also very often frustrated at the failure of many of them to fly the flag responsibly.

Either they forget to raise it when the Cubs do win or they forget to take it down and the flag is still flying after a Cubs loss -- a particularly cruel spectacle.

And sometimes this latter mistake can have an additional sadistic result. A few weeks ago, one of the Cubs weekday afternoon games was delayed by rain and I was unable to hear the game's conclusion before I left work. So I'm riding my bike home from the train station wondering what happened, and I cruise past one of these houses and -- hey, there's the W flag! The Cubs must have won, right?!

WRONG! The homeowner had left it up from the day before, when the Cubs really had won. The letdown when I got home and finally learned the truth was doubly harsh.

Carlos Marmol, you complete me.

My advice to you is...
Begin drinking heavily.

Nice
if I were you, I would invest in a flag pole of some sort. :-)

Here are some early spring pics at my house of our good friend the W flag:

I have a ceremony of sorts for hanging it. I hug it lovingly, being sure it doesn't touch the ground, on my way out to the porch. I give it a little kiss then let it fly! I can't imagine purchasing a L flag(do they even make such a cursed thing? and if so who buys it???), but I fly my W flag religiously.

fly your W flag Cubs fans!

I'm willing to bet 50 bucks
that this guy posted this just to brag about the size of his house. If he posted a W flag on some tiny shack, methinks we'd never see it.

I gotta say
you are one mean-spirited SOB.

And if I lived in a shack, I would be flying a White Sox banner.
