The Next Big Japanese Pitcher to the Majors?

Yu Darvish 21, Is widely considered to be the best pitcher in the Japanese baseball league. COULD (stressing could) be headed to the Majors in 2009.

According to MLBTradeRumors: The Cubs,Yankees, Dodgers and Mets have some interest should Darvish makes his way to the US. As well the Angels and Braves attempted to sign Darvish out of High School.

Stats:

In 3 Career Seasons with the Nippon Ham Fighters:

32-15 2.53 ERA 377 SO

His best season of his short 3 year career so far was 2007:

15-5 207.2 IP 9HR 123H 210SO 1.82ERA

Very interesting to see where Mr. Darvish ends up if he in fact does jump to the US. After seeing how much money the premier Japanese players have gotten from US Teams, it will be interesting to see if does in fact come to the US.
