I have the fortune of being on a business trip this week. I’ll find a local sports bar.

I will be watching a lot of the game at home, but I have to play softball tonight at 7 so I won’t get to see the whole game. Blah. I should fake an injury.

Cheering our boys on while my roommates just kind of shrug and laugh everytime something bad happens.

Hopefully a row or two down from Al.

Two rows behind Kasey, who I am SURE is wearing his Lou jersey to annoy me as he loves to do that.I will NOT be wearing my Maddux jersey and it is the only one I have. I am wearing my uber cool Cubs suede jacket and Mom is wearing my EXTRA one ( my favorite piece of Cub clothing EVER).

Or couch cushion. Whatever.

So I’ll be dragging my anxiety-ridden self to the bus then to the train then to my car then home. During that time, I will be wearing down the battery on my cell phone following the action. I tell ya, they couldn’t have picked a more perfect time to keep me from following the first hour or so of this game.

At around noon. I’m going home, getting all my Cubs gear on, and heading down to Wrigleyville to enjoy the game at a bar (haven’t decided which one yet).

two of my buddies and myself are going to start the game there. Then depending on how it goes walking over to the bar a block from my apt to blare Go Cubs Go on the jukebox..

with ESPN gameday and 720 on. I will pacing in my cubical.

But I will have the cell phone under the desk updating the whole time.

for the first hour 30 mins in my office and 30 mins in the car on the way home, then its in front of the TV for the duration. My guess is I’ll be dissapointing my Madden league through most of the month, tonight being no exception.

in Fargo, ND. Supposed to last until 6 and you can bet I’ll have the Gameday up and probably not paying attention. I did leave my tv on at home today, tuned to TBS so I can speed home, sprint in the house and dive onto the couch. I’ll wait for the first commercial break to grab a beer.

My fiance is making a phone call to the bank I work at to tell them my mom is in the hospital (at 5:20) so I can get home and turn on the game.

I hope this doesn’t make for bad Karma.

Watching Derek Lowe sinkers be mashed for doubles as I scan the walkway for Mike or Lester to bring me a cold one.

I’m at college in Claremont, CA and I am still desperately trying to find a TV on which to watch the game…

in Iowa Falls watching on the TV and chatting here with all the regulars. Can’t wait!!!

Actually, I’ll be out back, getting in some last-minute cigarettes before the game. Stupid smoking ban. Hopefully we’ll get a good Cubs presence in tonight!

Enjoying the game from the rooftops and enjoying unlimited beer and food!

Unfortunately, it’s the only legal way to see all playoff games in Puerto Rico, because idiot Bud sold the broadcast rights to a fly-by-night local channel that has not broadcast one game since last night. You could only watch the Sox clinch the division in your computer (I use a Slingbox and get my signal from Florida); the TBS signal is being blacked out. Only pirate Dish boxes work. And then the media companies complain about it. Do they still wonder why people get them?

This place is horrible at this time every year. I got fed up, set up a Slingbox and solved my problem the legal way.
