Blah blah blah

Remember Bluto...

“Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! And it ain’t over now…”

It’s not what you want, obviously, but it ain’t over. I hope you get some well deserved rest. The Cubs have had a great season and it ain’t over!

by DrCrawdad on Oct 3, 2008 12:05 AM CDT up reply actions

We just can't hit playoff-quality pitching

The hitting disappears against good pitchers with a good plan. And we can’t afford to play Fukudome. Johnson works for me, but Pie would be better, too..

Maybe we need to watch tape of the Phillies putting away Sabathia today. Could learn a thing or two.

Turn out the lights

The party’s over!!!!!!!!!

I want to know why this team didn’t show up for the playoffs!!!!

Sorry Al, but this FUCKING sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is everyone here sick to there stomachs. I don’t know but this feels a lot worse then 2003. Having great expectations for this team going into the playoffs and then they do this… Just fucking pathetic… 2003 they broke my heart this year i feel disgusted watching them…

I DIDN"T SAY MY MANTRA!

Ok, here goes:

The Cubs need to worry about winning the game they’re playing right now.

The Cubs need to worry about winning the game they’re playing right now

The Cubs need to worry about winning the game they’re playing right now.

The Cubs need to worry about winning the game they’re playing right now.

The Cubs need to worry about winning the game they’re playing right now.

Infinity.

I added the extras, and the Infinity, just in case I missed any other times when I needed to say it.

Come on guys, let’s go! We’ve been down worse than eight runs in the ninth before and come back (I’m trying to be an optimist).

Realisticlly the Cubs have weaknesses, every team does and the damn offense has just disappeared.

I could see the D costing us a game because to me our D is poor, especially middle infield, but the poor showing by our top hitters that is extremely frustrating.

I think the unbalanced schedule can hide a weaker team, too.
