I still believe

The last two games have been as awful as any I can remember, but this team isn't finished.  Although they haven't shown much fight in games 1 and 2, this team is too good to just roll over and give L.A. the series.  I  sensed a bit of a spark in the 9th inning tonight and I hope that maybe it'll be enough to wake up the bats in Los Angeles.  I've got faith that Harden and Lilly can get the job done and send this series back to Chicago.

In my 24 years as a Cubs fan, I've never had this much fun following the team and I'm not ready for it to end now.

So who's with me?!  I still believe!  Lets go Cubs!

Why not?

I doubt they do this kind of thing in baseball, as opposed to college basketball, but the team ought to get together and watch tape of the 4-game sweep in Milwaukee this year. See how you play on the road when it matters. At this point I just want them to win Saturday. That’s all. Don’t get swept two years in a row. Some of us can’t take it.

Its a disease

It’s seriously a disease being a cubs fan. no matter what happens..we keep watching them..its disgusting how a 97 win team can play this bad…it can only really happen to the cubs…dont expect them to ever win a world series…each year of failure..is just another year of pressure for the next team…its to much to handle for the players and organization….it is a lost cause..

Ah, the Cubs were out to get to me

Now, that’s the way it seemed
Disappointment haunted all my dreams

BUT I’m a believer

Not a trace
Of doubt in my mind
I’m in love
I’m a believer I couldn’t leave them if I tried

It's not over.....

Take it one day at a time…..

Start by winning Saturday……

The best defense is a good offense.....Lou Pinella...still hasn't managed the Cubs to a post season win. D. Lee still doesn't have a post seasson RBI for Cubs...ditto for Soriano

We will be fine, we are not out of this!

Please no Cub fans go to L.A....

let them play in a non-friedly environment. No pressure. Be the bad upset boys…. Its the only chance.

All of you people need to get a life… like Lou said.. it only entertainment… worry about the economy and your children, not about a bunch of millionares… let them show us how to beat a 100 year curse,,,, not the fans…

Agree about the 9th

I wish it had turned out to be a more exiting finish, but I also feel that the offense woke up in the 9th. Hopefully it caries over to Saturday. The first couple at bats will tell the story.

We can make history!!!

No one has ever come back from 2-0 in the NLDS. It never happened and we could do it. We can beat these guys.

Keep the Faith, I know you are all getting razzed at work just like me. I’m getting all kinds of hell from the people I work with.

Don’t give up on them, Keep the Faith

Lets Play Twooo!!!

I'm all for positivity but...

Its actually been done 4 times I think. They put the graphic up last night, the only one to lose the 1st two on the road and come back was the 01 Yanks…but 3 other teams have done it the other way around.

I wish I could join...

…your confidence, but I really believe this team is emotionally done.

i still believe too

i firmly believe the way we’re going to bust this streak is the same way the red sox did it. At some point the team is going to have to hit rock bottom and loosen up.

I’m hoping this is what happens

OT: Baseball alive at old Tiger Stadium site
I have to admit, i didn't expect this to work, and i generally don't condone ratting somebody out, but i think Woo Woo inspires special circumstances.

He was a few rows above me and a group of maybe a hundred other University of Iowa alumni last night, and started right in with the wooing early and loud. Between innings, he was... how shall i say this... creeping around? We all know his reputation.

Within 10 minutes of making a complaint to the Cubs text line, he was gone. Might be worth trying in future instances.

Sorry for the crappy picture quality... just got a new phone (HTC EVO) and am not sure how to take screen caps yet.
