How Much Cash Will I Lose?

If I buy tickets to the NLCS with my lucky password win and they don't make it how much will I get back?  What is my best course of action to negate the money loss?  Will call?  I'm new at this so any help would be greatly appreciated.  I still have enough faith/hope to buy them, but I ain't a rich man.  Man, the high of winning the chance to buy tickets to the low of last night was about the biggest mood swing I've ever gone through!!

Thanks for any thoughts!

I don't think...

…they refund the shipping. So do whatever is cheapest in regards to actually getting the tickets.

earlier threads

wrote that it costs 2.50 to print the tickets out yourself, so that would be the best option.

I don’t know if I have the heart left to enter the virtual waiting room.

Link

I bought a code to buy tickets but the guy has not sent me the link. He sent me the code but I can’t find the link in the e-mail. If you’re willing can you post the link to where to buy the tickets. For the nlds it was just the ticket page accessible from the cubs.com home page.

I don’t see that now and am in sort of a panic with a few minutes to go until tickets go on sale.

Or email me at mroldstyle at gmail dot com

Same here - two in the bleachers

Did the FedEx thing – if the game happens, it’d be a nice souvenir instead of a print-at-home piece of paper. But now I’m wondering… if there is no NLCS, will they deliver tickets anyway? I understand if there’s no game, there’s no refund of shipping charges, but if there’s no game, they should still print and ship the tickets. Otherwise, it’s a Dire Straits song come to life – “Money for Nothing…” ;-)

I regret not doing that.

I did print at home… shoulda just went with the FedEx. I would love to have the hard copy… But yeah, if we lose tomorrow or Sunday, do you think they will even bother printing the tickets?

It's yet another episode of "Outfield Adventures", starring Milton Bradley, as he'd lose this Jason Kendall-hit ball in the sun Friday against the Brewers.

Buster Olney said a few days ago that the Braves would entertain offers for their 26 year old shortstop (who makes 450k) Yunel Escobar. He is a plus bat, a solid defender, and would move Theriot to his more appropriate position at second.

They are looking for a bat in return. Apparently Cox doesn't like the guy.

I couldn't even speculate what we'd have to send them in return, but I think he would be a good fit given his low salary, his productive bat, his position, and his age. I don't care if he's a jerk if he makes the team win more.

What would it take?
