derosa's error was more costly

people are just playing favorites… its asinine. DLee has been the least of our problems this series

its not just the error

he only had 90 RBIs batting 3rd for the NL team that scored the most runs

by JPetey on Oct 4, 2008 9:58 PM CDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

he's 5-9 in the series

complaining about a guy who is nearly the only one hitting in the entire series seems like misguided frustration

When i watched We. game you have Darling and Gwynn on TV, their voices are both agitating in general. They know the game but they are unpleasant to lstent to as a team. They should have chosen another smooth voice to go with either Darling or Gwynn. TBS is cheap 2nd rate B.S., in my opinion.

What's so bad about these announcers?

I’m serious. I heard a REALLY bad announcer (Ed Farmer?) on the radio for the Sox the other day…slurred speech, no emotion or expressivity at all. These guys on TV sound OK to me.

What I don't understand

Is Why TBS hired the Brewers announcer and then assigned him to their games…He sounded like a total homer today. They hired the Red Sox announcer and placed him in the White Sox Series.
