Marmol in Car Accident- Minor Injuries

Carlos Marmol suffered minor injuries in a car accident early Tuesday in the Dominican Republic.

Marmol, who was in a car that was hit by a truck, wrote in an e-mail to The Associated Press that the air bag deployed and he only suffered a cut and an "inflammation" of his forehead. He received seven stitches in his forehead.

Yipes. Sounds like he's having a VERY bad week. Hope he's ok and his forehead isn't too "inflammed"

Did they study...

How his body can produce such a nasty slider? I’m glad he’s okay though, hopefully no involved was seriously injured

Someday we'll go all the way...

I'm guessing this quote was badly translated using an online translator.

Was he going to White Castle?

…glad he is okay..

Yeah

Last place I want to go after suffering defeat would be where all my friends and family (That I rarely see all year) reside.

I’d much rather stayed in a hotel room that has served as a make-shift home for half of the year — ALONE.

Ridiculous comment.

Pedro Cerrano says Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball. That's why

he calls on Jobu to help him hit the curveball. “Straightball, I hit very well. I no hit curveball.”

Could have been A LOT WORSE.

Mets relief pitcher Ambiorix Burgos is being sought by Dominican Police after he fled a hit and run accident there
last week that KILLED TWO WOMEN. His career and very likely his life as a free person is OVER ( FYI one MORE reason LOU SHOULD NOT HAVE LET HOWRY IN THE FINAL GAME. If Mets had made it , not only would the Cubs have had a better shot but this idiot would not be ruined and those women might be alive. I hope Lou remembers that
( yes I am kidding).

I think Dominican players should consider buses and scooters when they are home.
