There were a few candidates for the award, no "clear winner". Manny is gone from the league, Ortiz wasn't his usual self, same with Vlad Guerrero, Teixiera was good but wasn't there the whole season, if K-Rod didnt' win the Cy Young he probably won't win MVP, Arod is always in the mix, and Aubrey Huff (our future firstbaseman?) had a great year but on a terrible team which you can't tell me doesn't factor in to the decision.
