Historic Photos Site

Found this site and thought the group here at BCB might like to look at this.

http://images.google.com/hosted/life

Search millions of photographs from the LIFE photo archive, stretching from the 1750s to today. Most were never published and are now available for the first time through the joint work of LIFE and Google.

Here is the link to historic Cubs pictures.

Fan shot material

Not a fan post.

I’ve been taken to the woodshed for this.

He's right.

Links like this work better as FanShots.

No worries.

I should probably make a post sometime about FanPosts and FanShots and what’s more suitable for each.

If you did

will that be found in the FanPosts or FanShots??

"I love when they play that Go Cubs Win song."

LOL

It’ll probably be on the front page so everyone sees it!

K

Thanks for the clarification.

That would help.

My understanding of it was that it was for people who took pictures and wanted to post them on the site. Even though my post had pictures in it, by my definition, it was a fanpost and not a fanshot. So a clarification between the two is probably needed.

I'll do this soon.

FWIW, FanShots are supposed to be for quick links or videos or images, something that you don’t have to write much about (that’s why the 75-word minimum for FanPosts).

Make more sense now?
