While Heidi DeRosa is attractive...

those voters have no idea what they’re talking about.

I gotta agree, Al.

I find JLo2’s girl-next-door charms a little more attractive than DeRo’s undoubtedly attractive but tad too vampirish better half.

That's reason enough for anyone to want their team to sign Flippy

Just the idea that she might be somewhere in the ballpark is a nice thought.

I don't know, Al

I think JLo2 could have been high up, but Mrs. DeRosa is HOT.

Oh, I'm not saying she isn't.

And Jose Lima isn’t playing any more, but Melissa Lima could have qualified:

Don't like them at all, actually.

They’re a great team; I was hoping Oregon State would win out, but not quite.

I’m actually going to the game. I used to live in San Diego before coming here, and my parents still live there.

USC

My cousin went to Penn St. so I kinda follow them. They got a great defense but that USC offense is ridiculous when it’s running on all cylinders. I’ll be rooting for you guys so enjoy the game.

You know, I'm really sick of this juvenile Cardinal bashing.

They are our rivals. You can criticize them on baseball terms. But to say “oh, heh heh, Albert Pujols has an ugly wife” — WTF is that? That just makes me angry.

FWIW, here is a photo of Pujols with his wife Deirdre. She’s a lovely woman (to his left).

FWIW

I was just making a goof on the lady in the picture, not Pujols.

Well

I knew that wasn’t Pujols’ wife. My comments were made because the woman in that picture is the most hideously disgusting thing I’ve ever seen. I don’t think anybody in their right mind would actually think that was Pujols’ wife, I know I didn’t. If it was, then he should win the Nobel Peace Prize.

Didn’t mean to offend anyone with my remarks. I apologize.

by CubsWin!Oregon on Dec 9, 2008 3:12 PM CST up reply actions

Jesus, Al

It was an off-topic discussion and I was poking fun at the best hitter in the majors. I wasn’t criticizing, I was commenting on the discussion. If you want to get all high and mighty, that’s fine, but it doesn’t do so good considering that you posted 3 late-20, early-30 something scantily clad women.

by NittanyCub on Dec 9, 2008 2:15 PM CST up reply actions

Didn't seem like poking fun.

Seemed like another bit of Cardinal bashing.

having talked to several other

readers on this blog I think we have all came to the realization that this blog is changing quick. wow why are you so uptight lately AL?? he was clearly just having a little fun and attempted a lil humor and you jumped all over him. I think as well as other seem to think that if you dont have the same opinion or humor on things as AL you are automatically wrong and seem to be looked down upon.

this is a great blog(best cubs blog ever) with many different views but why all the sudden do you seem to be getting red hot mad at some of the silliest little things?? these are just questions nothing out of disrespect I mind you.

Didn’t seem funny. Maybe if he had mentioned someone other than Pujols I’d have laughed.

I wonder what it's like

to be the wife of the greatest hitter of our generation. No, not you Barry, nope, surely not you A-Rod. AH! Yes, you, Mr. Pujols. Oh, I’m sorry, KING Pujols. I wonder if Mrs. Pujols gets a little turned on thinking about this, because I am.

…she was a good “catch.”

Yes, yes ... winter is indeed a pond upon which all of us must skate, braving frostbite and runny noses in the hopes that our cars will start and we shan't embarass ourselves slipping on a patch of black ice. Spring is more a quagmire of cold mud and slush, and fall is a pile of fallen leaves that may or may not hide a pile of doggy doo-doo. But summer, ah summer is an oasis of endless green that disappears all too quickly beneath our feet as we rush through its warm, glorious bliss.
