Aaron Fitt of Baseball Prospectus has the following to say about Felix Pie.

"I think Pie could have a bounce like Corey Patterson had when he first went to Baltimore, but I see him having a Patterson-like fizzle in the long term."

Whoop-dee-doo...

Not sure what your obsession with Pie is at this point. You’re getting what you want, as he’s clearly going to be traded. Most everyone has moved on at this point. Everyone knows you think he’s worthless. Most everyone knows everyone else’s opinion on him as well. And everyone knows everyone else’s rationale for why the think Pie might fail/succeed.

Ultimately, we’ll likely get our chance to see who’s right on Pie in the coming years when he plays somewhere else. I really see no point in continuing to discuss him at this point beyond what trade package he’s going to be involved in.

I don't mind seeing Pie traded

But I hate that he’s going to be traded at a time when it’s obvious to everyone that he’s going to be traded.

Do you know how I'm so certain this is Blue Mike?

Because there’s no link. How hard would it be to provide a link?

Why o' why is it completely besides the point

Are you the bibliography police? Besides I find it hard to argue baseball with a guy that has the first name Colin.

You'd argue with an oceanographer over whether or not water is wet.

I, on the other hand, find it hard to argue baseball with a guy who doesn’t know the difference between Baseball Prospectus and Baseball America.

Except

it’s a huge thing whether or not it’s Baseball America or Baseball Prospectus. They have completely different philosophies of the game.

It’s very different if The Nation or The National Review publishes an article blasting Barack Obama. Same difference here. We can’t evaluate the comment without knowing the source.

Again with the frapping.

Yes, yes ... winter is indeed a pond upon which all of us must skate, braving frostbite and runny noses in the hopes that our cars will start and we shan't embarass ourselves slipping on a patch of black ice. Spring is more a quagmire of cold mud and slush, and fall is a pile of fallen leaves that may or may not hide a pile of doggy doo-doo. But summer, ah summer is an oasis of endless green that disappears all too quickly beneath our feet as we rush through its warm, glorious bliss.

Okay, just so I understand it... in your wildest fantasy, you are in hell. And you are co-running a bed and breakfast with the devil.

LOL, given his disdain of sabermagicians...

…I couldn’t quite see him spending much time on Baseball Prospectus.
