PrintSince a storm is headed this way, I thought I'd head over to Wrigley again this afternoon for some updated photos, especially after I saw the NHL Network video link on the post below, showing they had made considerable progress today. The lights were already on at 3 pm when I went there, so they must have been on all day.
Also ran into Brad from Cubs security again; he mentioned that they were intending to get the ice laid down tonight.

Saw a 9-foot Steinway do that once.
Bet the Zamboni made a cool noise too.

It fell on the viola section.

so that’s the purpose of the viola section, to provide padding for the piano? I always wondered why they were there. Thanks for clarifying this, I can sleep soundly tonight!
