NHL FanFest In Wrigleyville December 31 & January 1

WHAT: NHL Winter Classic Spectator Plaza, a free outdoor hockey and entertainment fan festival, in celebration of the Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic New Year’s Day outdoor game between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Detroit Red Wings.

WHEN: Wednesday, Dec. 31, from 11 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 1, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

WHERE: Wrigley Field parking lot on the corner of West Waveland Street and North Clark Street in downtown Chicago

More details here. No explanation as to why they'd think "the corner of West Waveland Street and North Clark Street" is "downtown Chicago", though.

I interviewed for the Community Relations Internship

and I made them a PowerPoint detailing plans of a community skate and fan fest event. That interview was while I was a custodian still, so it was early September. At the time, they said they hadn’t even thought of it. Oh the bargaining chip I could have…
