Daver says in high-pitched voice...

…“WHO IS IT?”

Yes, yes ... winter is indeed a pond upon which all of us must skate, braving frostbite and runny noses in the hopes that our cars will start and we shan't embarass ourselves slipping on a patch of black ice. Spring is more a quagmire of cold mud and slush, and fall is a pile of fallen leaves that may or may not hide a pile of doggy doo-doo. But summer, ah summer is an oasis of endless green that disappears all too quickly beneath our feet as we rush through its warm, glorious bliss.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow.

I wonder whatever happened to her.

And that other guy, Tom Hanks. Where’s he these days? I mean, talk about your obscure 80s actors. That guy went nowhere fast.

Very nice.

And, yeah, I’m not sure I want to see what Ackroyd looks like these days. I remember a girlfriend in college saying, “He used to be skinny until his best friend died – then he got fat!” And that was back in the 90s. He’s a smart guy, though.

I Won't Post the Video, But...

Carrie Fisher on the Today Show with Matt Lauer a couple of weeks ago looked worse than Kathleen Turner. Okay, I know it’s been 25 years since Return of the Jedi, but it’s ridiculous how bad Fisher looks now. It’s about more than age with Carrie’s poor appearance. You can find out in her new book, Wishful Drinking.

Former Texas Longhorn Mike Brumley

He played with the Cubs in 1987. Brumley and Paul Noce were the middle infielders when Dunston and Sandberg were both on the DL. I remember Brumley stealing home in one game.

AWESOME!

Keep in mind, however, that Pat Perry was already out of baseball before Taylorvillians gathered around boiling caldrons of beef and spice.

For that reason, Perry gets my “pride” label.
