I don't care what # BCB Shirt Post it is, I WANT MY SHIRT NOW!!!

I am sure someone out there in BCB Land will be able to tell me what # post this is about the BCB Shirts.

I know there are problems going on, but I think Spring Training week is long enough to wait for the shirt I ordered and paid for (what now feels like a year ago...oh wait)

Can someone tell me when I am going to get my shirt. I want a date that someone will commit to.

I am leaving for Spring Training soon, and would like to have my shirt before I go.

I will be happy to offer help, but I am worn out on waiting. Sorry to bother you all who have their shirts or never ordered shirts.

Just had to get this off my chest. Thanks, and Happy Aniversary BCB!

I understand your frustration...
I am also a bit frustrated myself since this is not my part of the project.  I agree that it has been a while.  I just left another message for Chad about these shirts.  I will post again with any update I can get.

That is the best I can do right now since I am in Chicago and he is in Florida.

Would it be of any use...
... if I contacted him?

It certainly might Al...
maybe your contact would be more influential.

I emailed him two weeks ago
asking the same question and he assured me that the shirts would be mailed out by 2/2.  Clearly, they weren't.

Not sure what the nature of his family emergency is that would preclude a mass mailing of these shirts over...how many months now? Just hope all is well with the guy and he can complete this one last task so all of us can concentrate on spring training and the new season.

No Reply
Emailing around the 1st of the year I was told shirts would be sent soon.  I left things alone for a month and emailed again a few days ago without response.

Sympathy and understanding of family emergency issues prevent pushing this too aggressively ... but surely somebody else can and should now step in and get these shirts sent.  (If no other volunteer steps up I'd be happy to do it -- that will take shipping the shirts to me in MA along with the addresses but it will get done asap once they arrive.)

Like many others here I sure am hoping to be wearing my BCB shirt in AZ at the end of this month.  It can't be rocket science to make it happen ....

We actually have someone who offered...
and I have decided that if I can get Chad on the phone, I will insist that he go this route.  I am very sorry.  I too, have not pushed as hard as I normally would have because someone has been ill.

We will continue to try to get this done quickly.

Sorry.

My apologies as well.
I'll help get to the bottom of this.

I don't doubt that we
will get our shirts. I would really like to have mine before spring training. If he can't find the time to send the shirts out, perhaps he could send all of them to someone else here that could take on that task for him? If he really has a situation going on, maybe others can help with this and it would be one less thing on his plate.

I too
would like to wear my BCB shirt to a spring training game. It's getting cold waiting by my mailbox every day....

Anything I can do to help?
I am in Florida...if the shirts are here, then I can maybe do something? I mean, these 75 and 80 degree days are killing me down here!

Florida
I am in North Florida, a town called Lake City. Right at the intersection of I-10 and I-75.

I travel frequently east to Jacksonville, south to Orlando, and West to Tallahassee. I can make a morning or evening run to anywhere within a few hours.

I'm here in Tallahassee, Al. Even though I never ordered a shirt, if I can be of help please let me know.

Thanks.

Thanks guys...
just left another message for Chad.  Good news is I have the money.  He just has the shirts.  Rest assured we will figure this out.  I wish I could give a date like the diary poster wanted but that would be a stupid thing to do since I have little control at this point.  I will let you all Floridians know if you can help.

Thank you for the offers!

I'm sure this is the last...
thing you need or want to hear now, but did you have those shirts printed in Chicago?  If you could let me know what company printed them and if they still have the logos on file, I'd like to order one for myself.  I'll pay for the shirt and shipping costs of course.

by nmrudge on Feb 12, 2008 7:31 PM CST up reply actions

Unfortunately
they will not do orders of this size. My best advice is to connect with Louie who designed them and take the artwork (if he is okay with this) to a shirt shop and have it made.

I dont know why I'm so amused with this but
this is #787

azweber, while looking through old posts to look up what # post this was like the bored worker I am, I noticed you asked whether or not I lived in Chicago in response to me offering to buy an extra shirt if available. I'm not in Chicago, but I come up there often, so if you have an unclaimed Large shirt, I can pay for the additional shipping, pick it up next time I'm up there, or have a friend who lives there pick it up.  I originally ordered an XL, but I lost some lbs so it'll be way too large to wear.  Let me know, thanks.
