New Blog: Sounder At Heart for Seattle Sounders Fans!

It has been 9 days for BCB Shirts, and...........

I still have received nothing. I read they were mailed out 9 days ago. Lived in Florida for a year. Never took longer than 4 days for anything to be mailed up here.

I need to make arrangements to be mailed another shirt or to get a refund.

Something is not adding up, and I would like to be done with this now.

I agree
I think us out of towners have been MORE than patient.

Not trying to add fuel to the fire
but didn't the BCB shirt thing start last July?  Just curious cause it has been a recurring theme here for a long time.

Yup, still no shirt.
Have any out-of-towners received theirs yet?

azweber9, i'd be happy to help if you can get me the shirts.

Damn
I can't wait til this thing is resolved, I'm so tired of seeing diaries about freaking t-shirts on a Cubs blog.

by kanderber on Feb 23, 2008 5:36 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

I've had to warn you before.
What is your problem with this? They are T-shirts FOR THIS CUBS BLOG. People paid money and haven't gotten their shirts. They have every right to complain.

I would suggest that if you aren't interested in this topic, you simply stay away from these diaries instead of posting irrelevant negative comments.

Thank you.

Of course they have every right to complain
I would have been complaining a LONG time ago had I paid for a t-shirt and waited 6 months to receive it.

I'm sure I'm not alone in looking forward to the day when the top diary on this site is about t-shirts.

Again...
... no one is forcing you to read these diaries. Read and post in the threads that interest you. There's no need to criticize these -- people have a legitimate right to post them, and I support that, until this issue is settled.

In his defense...
While I don't know what he has said before, I don't think he was really criticizing anybody in this post.

I mean, I also know I'm kinda tired of seeing T-Shirt diaries.

I'm guessing...
... if you had bought one and not received it, you wouldn't feel that way.

I'm not saying what you think
I'm not saying at all that people shouldn't be allowed to post these and I didn't say that in my post.  Decidedly did not.  In fact, I made sure I didn't because I'm annoyed on their behalf as well.

That being said, I also can't wait until we don't have a ton of these diaries.

The two feelings are not mutually exclusive.

I disagree
I love the t-shirt diaries.

From the discussions of how prominently to feature an ad for this website on the shirt to the organizers' inexplicable refusal to accept Paypal to the complaints about the inability to deliver the shirts have all made for some entertaining reading.

In fact, I think all of the diaries should be combined on the sidebar a la the bleacher expansion and top 100 Cubs write-ups.

Oh
and as for your "inexplicable inability to accept paypal" comment.  Get over it.  It didn't work out and I wasn't even the one who did the research on this.

First off...
Al is right...you are nothing but a pain in my ass along with others.  Clearly a lonely, sad individual that takes pleasure in instigating trouble and making people upset.  You belong on some miserable island by yourself where the only person you can annoy is the most annoying person himself.

As for the others.  All I can do is call Chad again and see what the hell is going on.  I took care of my part and yet I am still having to deal with this shit.  I have no excuse for him but if you think I don't want to be done with asshole comments like this guy's, and all other frustrated people here, you are mistaken.

I will call him right now and tell him your thoughts.  It will be real great if all this effort produces nothing for the charity we are trying to donate to.

I understand you have been very patient and are frustrated.  I am as well.  I wish I had more control over this.  The people in Chicago (all but one) have their shirts.

I will update ASAP.

Which will happen first...
t-shirt deliveries or the Brian Roberts trade?

Maybe we can combine the two and discuss Brian Roberts T-Shirts.

As I've told you before, I never repeat myself.

I'm in a life position right now ....
Where the money I spent on those t-shirts could really come in handy right now; you know, keeping lights and gas on, seeing the doctor.  And I know I have been patient ... but this is freaking ridiculous.

My question is ... who was the one who deposited the money orders and where are those funds?

I have the money still
The money is in my account because of course I did not just hand him the cash to do with what he pleased. I will be able to refund peoples' money if the shirts do not come but I would prefer to wait this out till the end of next week the latest so that I don't give you your money back and then you get the shirt too.

So here is what I got
called Chad again today.  He didn't pickup but texted me that the shirts ARE on their way.  I told him I am not going to take this heat anymore and that if they are not here soon (and I am talking middle of next week or at the latest the end) I am goingto have to give your miney back, take a hit on this project, and let the shirts go.

I am sorry for this.  This is in no way my fault, but I AM sorry.  I hope that you end up with your shirts and not your money back.

Please post again if no shirts arrive this week.  I have no other way to know who has gotten one and who hasn't.

Thanks.
