OT: Need help finding a wedding DJ....please

I know, this is not even sports related, but this is a big group of people in Illinois (mostly) and likely a few people have been recently married here.

Can anyone recommend a wedding DJ for Friday August 8th in Geneva, IL?

Star-divide

We had some issues with our first DJ, and need to replace him at almost the last minute (149 days left).

Any help would be appreciated!

Take my advice...
steer clear of the DJ...they only bring heartache.

As I've told you before, I never repeat myself.

Sorry, I can't help you...
...I got married almost eight years ago, and we used a band. Maybe you could ask Sean Marshall, though, as he got hitched recently. Don't believe me? Here's some of the wedding video.

(I have to give credit to a poster Cubster at The Cub Reporter for this. I debated doing a diary on the video, but I feel a little dirty even posting it here. Then again, it appears on the Web site of an Arizona Fox news channel, so it's not like I swiped the best man's camcorder or something.)

Ladies and gentlemen, your 2008 Chicago Cubs starting outfield: Soriano-Pie-Fukudome. Let it be.

You could try out Jay Sims.
Jay Sims has done the spinning for my school's dance marathon for years, and I hear nothing but good things about his company's performance and professionalism.

BeerBaron
I would love to do it, but alas, I live in Florida. I have over 20 weddings already booked for this year, and this Spring is my busiest time -- the next 8 weekends I am doing weddings. Doesn't leave much time for fishing, but oh well.

Good luck finding someone up there. I wish I knew some contacts in the biz to help you out. However, if you find yourself shopping around, let me know if I can help you ask the right questions and get the best you can. I have been doing it for 14 years and have seen almost everything.

He has been doing this for twenty years.
