TPWSRN is also getting tired of all the rumors and voices his opinion on the situation. I personally like this quote: "I wouldn't say it would be a letdown if [a trade] doesn't happen. I'm going to play baseball either way. I love my teammates, the city of Baltimore. It's not like it would be the end of the world. But like I've said before, everybody wants to win and you always want to be in a situation where you feel like you have the best chance of doing that
During today's game Lou hinted that he was considering moving Fuku to the 2nd spot, which to those of us who hate the idea of Soriano hitting 2nd and also feel that the best spot for Fuku in this lineup is 2nd, is welcomed news. From the sounds of it, he might be considering moving Soriano down to the 5th spot, which is also where I want him. Whichever way you shake it, it seems like Soriano's days leading off (atleast with Lou around) are numbered, which is also welcomed news. IF this is the opening day lineup (barring TPWSRN isn't in Chicago) I'd be Ok with it, atleast I'll feel better about this newest one, than the what Lous been throwing out there lately:
Theriot
Dome
Lee
ARM
Soriano
Derosa
Soto
Pie
All the Righties in the heart of the order aren't ideal, but what are ya gonna do. Fuku will clearly benefit more hitting 2nd or maybe even leadoff, which is another possibility. I personally wouldn't mind seeing Fuku 1 and Derosa 2, but the newest lineup Lou seems to be toying with is an improvement.
Stay tuned
