I know this would normally go in a PS2 help forum, but I thought that I might give it a shot here, and see if anyone has an answer. So, here it goes...

I have a PS2 slimline, and want to connect it to the internet. My ps2 is upstairs, and my modem is downstairs. I do not have a wireless router. I have a TV downstairs by my computer, but it is fairly far away. So, if I use my ethernet cable to plug my PlayStation in and turn it on, would it come up on the computer screen, or would it not work. Finally, is it possible to run my cable from the computer to the TV, and plug it in. I'm sorry if I was long winded, but I need help.
