I just went onto to cubs.com and got 4 upper deck box section 427.

If you just need one...
I checked best available and there's a Club Box down the right field line (Sec 36, Row 8). Probably have a good view of Dome and should be safely out of range for any errant throws from Braun... I think.

still seems to be
alot left................how can that be for a game in such demand?

Because they release tickets...
... a day or two before the game. This happens ALL the time, even with supposedly "sold-out" games.
Some of these might have been at Wrigley Field Premium Ticket Services (you know, the Cubs' own scalper) and not sold, so returned for sale at face value.

I am astonished
at how many good seats can be pulled up still.

wait a few seconds
they are still popping up 1-4 as people decide to release their "shopping carts" or time-out their session (7 minutes)
are you wanting tickets or just watching, like me?

For sure
people hold them then they release.
HAHA I go to the tickets link and 'just watch' all the time.

I just pulleld up a seat in section 107
The funny thing is, that doesn't show up on the map. It skips from 106 to 108. Strange.

Obviously the bad weather
is both scaring people off and leading the Cubs to dump tickets they hoped
to scalp. After a lot of confusion I still have my seats ( check the ticket exchange section) I got tired of people assuring me they wanted the tickets and then changing their mind. Weird thing is I just looked at weather and it has a high of 61????? but thunderstorms. Personally I always enjoy sitting in my COVERED seats and
watching it rain on the people in boxes hiding under umbrellas, coats etc. Also
if it raining at game time I sit it out in the Starbucks on Addison until or if the game
starts.

Just bought tickets for Thursday's game
It'll be my first time in the bleachers.
Any tips for passing as a bleacher bum?

Just have a good time.
You gunning for front row? Left field? Right field? If you dont go for front row I like the top row. There is now a fence backing you can lean against.
Another CRUCIAL tip for 1st timers. BEER VENDORS DO NOT WALK THE BLEACHERS. Get a seat at the END of a row if you are partaking in the boozing.

Not sure
What's the "vibe" of the different areas? Left, Right, Center, front, middle, back? How early do you have to get there for decent seats? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

If you want to get front row left field you better get there 3+ hours early. Left field is where its at. Right field is usually sun in your eyes but you wont have to worry about that.
