I hope...
Les doesn't get a flat tire on the way to the PO, or get pulled over by a cop because his car matches the description of a get-away car involved in a bank robbery, or picks up a hitch-hiker on the way to the PO and the hitch-hiker turns out to be some crazy psycho-father-rapist and Les has to crash his car into a telephone pole because the psycho-father-rapist wasn't wearing his seat-belt and the crash sends the psyco-father-rapist through the window so Les can escape.

I just typed that so I could type father-rapist alot...father-rapist.

As I've told you before, I never repeat myself.

The Update
Wouldn't it have made more sense to just update when you get the #?  Just from reading these past messages for humor does anyone care when you're leaving?  They just want the darn tracking #'s.

by ak123 on Mar 5, 2008 3:00 PM CST reply actions

We don't care..
what format he posts the #'s in either...it's just another way this guy is leading everyone on and laughing at his own private joke.
As I've told you before, I never repeat myself.

That occured to me too
.....maybe this guy has nothing to do with the shirts but is some creepy Sox fan or something.

Actually
I sent him kind of a rude text saying he isn't posting enough and I am being left to answer the Q's he should be answering.  That was my doing.  He left me a VM at 3:00PM saying on the way to the PO.  He will call me as soon as he is done.

All seriousness aside, I am actually finding these posts a bit amusing as well and if noones' shirts/money was on the line, I would be quite enjoying the reading material.

These are quickly becoming...
...some of the most enjoyable parts of BCB.  Can we make "T-Shirt Threads" a permanent link on the menu to the right?  I use to come for the Roberts talk, now its the t-shirt update.  Fantastic.  Evolution.

CNN is there ...
With Frank Zarella, MSNBC has Marty Savidge, and FOX is there with Greta Van Susteren (just in case some crime occurs along the way to the fearless postmistress or Chad) ....

Too bad Tru-TV fired Star Jones ... or maybe that ain't such a tragedy.  She would have charged advertising ...

Update...
Les has entered the post office, but there is a line and he took a number.  It is number 137.  They are on #129.

by mannytrillo on Mar 5, 2008 3:53 PM CST reply actions

Update...
They are now calling #132, but she is a very old lady, so it could take a while.  Not Les' fault.  Don't blame him...:)

by mannytrillo on Mar 5, 2008 3:54 PM CST reply actions

Oh no!
The little old lady is taking a long time...it seems that the "package" she is trying to mail started meowing and the Postman helping her has recognized her as a local retiree that suffers from dementia and has tried to mail her cat again (the 3rd time this year). Stand by...

the most popular diaries are the tshirts.  i ordered one, but i've given up.  i just find these damn entertaining.  between the excuses and other people's comments, work hasn't been this fun since the regular season ended!

by dahcar on Mar 5, 2008 3:59 PM CST reply actions

Just adding my 2 cents...
I didn't order a shirt, but it has been interesting to read these updates.

However, I want to warn people about something...If Les does get tracking numbers and posts them from the post office, be warned that the USPS does not automatically have these tracking numbers show up on their site.  From personal  experience with using these delivery confirmation numbers, sometimes it takes a day or 2 for them to show up on their site.  Just another frustrating thing with the USPS.

So I am just saying, don't jump on him if he posts the tracking numbers and you can't find them on the USPS site. (but I know you will do that anyway).

Sentence Structure
Does the they in that sentence refer to the tracking numbers, or the shirts?

On what other site do you get a grammar lesson?

I think he's referring to the tracking #s.

i was referring to your sentence Al
and for the sake of the out of towners I hope the answer is both.

I've been trying to figure out what I will do if this whole saga ends.....probably actually work.

I wonder how many people have spent most of the afternoon checking these posts.  I know I have.
