MLBTV
This has probably already been discussed and I missed it, but can someone tell me if the MLBTV.com services have chagned this year? You used to be able to watch "condensed" games and highlights the same day as the game, and I have not been able to find those links for yesterday's game. Am I missing them?
Thanks. And lets rebound tomorrow!

Strange
No links on the multimedia guide or the player window for any highlights. The fine print on the signup page and the MLB.TV FAQ still mention Condensed Games, but the full descriptions of the packages do not mention it at all. Unless the Daily Rewind Game Recaps are meant to be the Condensed Games (unlikely), it looks like MLBAM has ended that feature for this season.
It was my impression that it takes 24 hours for them to be added to archives.
Check again later this afternoon and see if it's still an issue.
Yup
From the MLB.tv subscriptions page:
• NOTE: Due to broadcast restrictions, new MLB.TV and Condensed Game archives are limited to a playing time of five minutes in duration until 6 am ET on the day following that on which the applicable game commenced play.
More fan friendliness by MLB.

Not last year
Over the past few years, the condensed games were usually up for viewing about 2-4 hours after the game had concluded. The 5 minute playback before 6am limitation has been on the books for years, though some people here claim that it was not followed last season. This year, there is not even a column for them in the Multimedia page table. We shall see if they do turn up in the coming days, but it does not look promising IMHO.
I noticed last year with MLB.tv...
games that had extended rain delays during them never made it to the archives....and I'm talking about the weather delays that were lengthy enough that the original broadcast went back to whatever "regular programming" to fill time until the game resumed.
Maybe it has something to do with MLB not having the rights to put other stations programming (other than the game broadcast) up in the archives, and the MLB.com techs are either too lazy or not able to cut out these portions of the game broadcast feed.
