Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

April 23rd vs. the Rox

I was just wondering if any other BleedCubbieBlue readers in Colorado were traveling to the game next Wednesday night in Denver? I am coming down from Colorado State for the game, so I just thought I'd throw out a query. If you do happen to be going, where, roughly, are your seats? Mine are behind home plate about 30 rows on the 100 level (21st birthday gift). I'll be traveling down that afternoon with my girlfriend for a great day at the ballpark.

See you there!

Don't forget

to try the best ballpark food: Rocky Mountain Oysters. They have them in the stand behind third base.

well, i’d hardly call it travelling, but i will be taking the 3 mile bus ride from my house to coors field for both cubs games. upper deck behind home plate, row 2. since you just turned 21, you should stop by falling rock taphouse (one block down blake street from coors filed – toward the mountains). easily the best beer bar around. 75 taps. no crap on tap.

I will be there.....

As well….my seats on Wednesday night are approximately where yours are…not sure of section # or seat #, they are at home. On Thursday day we are sitting in Section 118, row 21. We bought a 20 pack of tickets for this season and that is where are seats are.

All things great in 2008!!

Falling Rock Rules

When I was out there last summer it was all Cubs fans. My goal was to “ride the rail” and drink every tap by the time the 3 game series was over. Yeah right.

yeah, that’s not really possible…. or desirable… but falling rock has the best beer selection in town.

My seats are...

Section 127, row 38.

I try to go to as many Cubs-Rox games as possible since starting school at CSU. Went to all 4 late last summer. I’ll have to try that brewery.

I intend to pregame at Falling Rock as well...

I don’t know if there’s a secret BCB handshake or something, but I’ll be sitting at the bar wearing a cubs hat. That enough of a distinguishing characteristic? lol

Announcing your plans is a good way to hear God laugh.

lol!

yeah, i’ll be the guy in the cubs hat too!

actually i’m not sure if i will be there pregame, but i’m sure to be there postgame on thursday. great divide brewing has a tasting room at 22nd and arapahoe that is also a good spot to check out. they are only open to 8pm, but you can get a few free samples (try before you buy!). i like to stop in there on my way to games at coors field.
