Cubs leading 2-0

But if you’re watching ESPN it’s hard to tell there’s a game going on.

There is no place like Nebraska - Go Huskers!

No kidding.

STILL talking about Joba and Hank.

Srsly…Not like John Maine’s starting to struggle or anything. No storylines to talk about with D-Lee up with 2 out.

for those of you who, like me, watch the wgn and national games on tv and the rest on mlb.tv – the mlb.tv feed is not blacked out – and it’s len and bob instead of this moronic crap they are showing on espn.

I can't believe I called the Pie HR...

I was in the wrong part of the house to come online, but once I heard that Sosa was coming in and not a lefty, I said out loud to an empty house: “Pie’s going to hit one out so I won’t get a save from Wood for my fantasy team tonight.”

It looked to me like they’re trying to get Pie’s swing to look at lot more like Fukodome’s, especially with that front foot. If Pie and Cedeno can both evolve into solid .265/.325/.375 hitters this year, that would be an outstanding development.

2008 Cubs: Why Beat A Team in Regulation, when you can beat them in extras?

Exactly

The Brewers are a much better team. The more they lose right now, regardless of other teams, the better.

Over 1,200 comments in the two game threads.

Rejoice, fellow Cubs fans. It’s early, but life is good.

Wow!!

A lot of tears flowing at ESPN…..half of BaseballTonight will be about Yankee pitching…..Love to see the “BEST 3B and SS” in the league cost the Mets a game…..Poor NY….
I never thought I would watch a game with the sound off and 12 string in hand….I hope the Cubs never are ESPN’s game again…HORRIBLE!!!
Love to see Felix’ new swing!! Short and sweet…..

Then you won't like the fact that...

in the first Cubs/Cards series of the year, the Sunday game is the Sunday night game which means we get blessed with more ‘expert’ analysis from ESPN lifers Joe Morgan and Jon Miller. BTW the mute button is usually located underneath the #’s on most remotes. lol

I'm kind of a big deal
