BCB Site Note
Trei has let all of us know that BCB (and other SBN sites that have already been migrated to the new platform) will all be down for approximately two hours tonight (early Wednesday morning) at 1 am CDT. That's a slow time here anyway, so hopefully it won't affect any of you too much.
The purpose is for a server upgrade.
Just wanted to give all of you a heads-up on this.

What makes you think Al sleeps ?
Cubs games, Work, Kids, Blog
He has no time to waste sleeping.
I did hear he took a cat nap in 06 but it was SUCH a bad season.

There were a lot of pitching changes in '06.
Got more sleep then.

Far too many of both.
Ugh. Don’t want to remember that at all.

Well I figure he doesn’t sleep and that two hours might give him a chance to try it.

not sure what's on from 1-2 am in Chicago...
...but from 2-3 am, if you’re dying for a baseball fix, tune into Ch. 11 for the re-broadcast of the PBS American Experience documentary on Roberto Clemente.

Thanks for the reminder
I forgot this was coming up. What a man he was, what an example, and a fine ball player too. Time to crank up my DVR.
"He's not pining, he's passed on. This parrot is no more. He has ceased to be. He's expired and gone to meet his maker. He's a stiff, bereft of life, he rests in peace. If you hadn't have nailed him to the perch he'd be pushing up the daisies. He's rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. This is an ex-parrot!"
aww man!!
