HA HA!

Once again Santos, you’ve made me laugh out loud at work! Now I must deal with all the strange looks I’m getting. You said spreadsheets aren’t funny….

I was going to ask the same thing.

But I obviously have no room to talk.

I meant smokin'....

but seeing as how Wrigley is a non-smoking ballpark….somkin’ is more appropriate.

As I've told you before, I never repeat myself.

It must suck to be Fukudome right now

I bet it’s frustrating to not casually with to your teammates without having an interpreter present

I bet...

... he can communicate better than you think. He probably understands more English than he can speak, and a lot of communication can be non-verbal.

I’m pretty sure it doesn’t “suck” to be him right now.

Baseball Lingo

Im sure he understands most english baseball talk. now when it comes to what bar to go to in Cincy or his personal top 5 hotties, something might be lost in translation

It's yet another episode of "Outfield Adventures", starring Milton Bradley, as he'd lose this Jason Kendall-hit ball in the sun Friday against the Brewers.

Buster Olney said a few days ago that the Braves would entertain offers for their 26 year old shortstop (who makes 450k) Yunel Escobar. He is a plus bat, a solid defender, and would move Theriot to his more appropriate position at second.

They are looking for a bat in return. Apparently Cox doesn't like the guy.

I couldn't even speculate what we'd have to send them in return, but I think he would be a good fit given his low salary, his productive bat, his position, and his age. I don't care if he's a jerk if he makes the team win more.

What would it take?
