I'll be at Tonight's Game in Denver
I always get envious reading everyone's posts about going to see the Cubs at Wrigley. Living in Denver, I only get see the Cubs in person once a year. At the last minute today, I got some good tickets for tonight's game, down the left field line, about 10 rows up from the field. Hopefully, Cubs fans will take over the stadium tonight. We've certainly done it before.
I am so pumped!! Go Cubs!

today's game, behind the Rox dugout, Row 19
Hopefully they can continue the hot hitting. This is only my 5th Cubs game and they haven’t won any in my presence.

I'll be in Section 143, row 10 tonight. That's the lower level.
To Rudey: I am going with my wife (a Rockies Fan), my partner and her husband (Denver natives). They will shoot me if I bring a sign. However, I will be wearing my Cubs Team Jacket and hat.
To anormal and hk, I’m 6’5” with glasses and grey-blonde hair. There can’t possibly be that many 6’5” people wandering around Coors Field tonight in a Cubs jacket and hat. If you see me (and any other BCB people), give me a shout.
Let’s rock the house!
And by the way, hk, I have seen the Cubs in Denver probably 10-12 times, and I’ve only seen them lose twice. So let’s hope tonight is your first win.
One of the times I saw them win was a game when Baylor was still the manager of the Rockies. I was sitting about 15 rows up above the Rockies’ dugout. In the top of the 5th, our number 2 hitter (can’t remember who he was) doubled with two out, and the score tied 2-2. Grace and Sosa were the next two batters. Baylor elected to intentionally walk Grace to get to Sosa. The Cubs’ players were yelling at Sosa to make Baylor pay for the lack of respect. Sosa crushed it way over the wall in center field. The Cubs ended up winning, 6-5. It is still one of the coolest moments I’ve had seeing the Cubs in Coors (the other was two years ago when I saw game three of the three game series, and the Cubs won 5-0 to sweep the series – during the Rockies bat in the bottom of the 9th, the Cub fans chanting “here we go Cubbies, here we go!” was deafening).
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, whadya say? The Cubs are going to win today!

wow, yer lucky to have seen so few loses. i’ve seen them lose 4 times at coors in the last 2 years (and 2 wins). maybe the sweep you saw was three years ago because i’m sure they didn’t sweep here in 06. i saw them lose the first two games – they won the third one though…

How Sweet It Is!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anormal, you are right that the sweep was three years ago. I got my years mixed up.
hk, assuming you made it to the game, you finally got to get to see the Cubs win. It was one of the better games I’ve seen at Coors. You were sitting very near my secretary, who is a BIG Rockies fan. I’d have heard it from her if the Rockies had won.
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, whadya say? The Cubs are going to win today!
