Baseball is a game of numbers. At least, that's what I was always coached and with the Cubs recent offensive surge and so many players swinging a hot bat, the query becomes "who does Lou start in Denver?" You make the call!


So lets break things down!

*Note: All stats listed below are versus current Rockies pitchers/batters. Also, Franklin Morales has never faced any current member of the Cubs active roster on the Major League level.

Rockies batters are hitting .343 against Rich Hill. Hill has only given up 3 extra base hits (1 HR, 2 doubles) against the Rockies.

what you are trying to say? The Cubs should consider starting Daryle Ward over Lee because he has a better average versus Colorado?
