Top Web Gems (Baseball Tonight)
I'd like to see Reed's catch make the top web gems of the week so let's all get on and vote for it. It will probably win anyways but let's make sure that happens. Here's the link. The poll is in the bottom right. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/index
The best Cubs catch I've ever seen. DeRosa's reaction was just priceless. I have to make the post 75 words so I hope this puts it over.

Debate
Which catch do you think is better:
Johnsons catch this week or Sam Fulds catch last year?

reeds
sam fuld’s was really nice last year, but considering all the ground reed covered puts his over sam’s

Reed's...
... although, Fuld’s came in a more important pennant race game that the Cubs actually won, so you could argue that Fuld’s play had more impact.

Let's see.... padded wall at Nationals park vs. brick wall at Wrigley Field
Yeah, I’d say Fuld’s had more impact… ;-)

Defensive List
Hey Al, did you ever make a list or is there one on the web of the most impressive Cubs defensive plays? I know the team hasn’t always been known for defense but I’m sure we have a handful. Jacque Jones actually had a bunch last year and Cedeno had some amazing stuff in 2006 when he didn’t make errors. And of course DLee deserves credit too.

I can try to come up with a list.
Obviously, we’d have to go way back before 2006 to really find the best ones.
