OT www.seatdata.com
If I'm breaking rules then pull this please.
I've seen a few people ask about seats in certian stadiums and sections. I've been using a site called http://www.seatdata.com/ . It's totaly free so this isn't a plug. You can pick MLB NFL NHL NBA stadiums and arenas or choose by team. You click on the venue then click on your section to see a view. It really is helpful so I suggest it for 1st time trips to stadiums before purchasing tickets. For instance...you want to sit in section 209 at Wrigley but not sure if your view will be blocked...
Now if you want lager images you have to pay but otherwise it's free to use for the small images and very helpful.

I use it for the free shot too but....
the freebies are actually about 1/4 the size of your pic. Still better than nothing.
Recently I've been going to flickr.com where you can search and view pics at full size. These are helpful to use side by side a stadium seating chart to try and determine where any given seat is.
Everytime I go to Wrigley I also take random pictures of the stadium and of the view from sections as I walk thru them.

I'll have to check out the flickr views
I ponied up the $8 or whatever it cost for the membership becuase I needed the giant inages for the Sugar Bowl. It saved me from getting bad seats.

But say
you're going to Great American Park in Cincy and you've never been...then it's a great tool.

Seat Data can't help you in 209
That is where my seats are and they are PERFECT not a pole
ANYWHERE. However a few seats over you get lots of pole. Now
if they could map ALL the seats in the Terrace Infield where the poles
are the problem it would be fantastic but it drives me nuts that my seats
are MUCH better than they appear on seatdata and stubhub is basically
useless for seat info re poles. Ironically the Cubs know best. Last year
when they had their own fan reselling system it understood that 209
row 11 (my seats) where better than 220 row 20 even if those where
"behind the plate". I miss it..

Yep you're right
seatdata cant show your exact seat but if I was buying a single game ticket and saw the pole in section 209 I wouldnt take may chances.

Here is my son in our seats
The pole blocks the umpire in our last seat on the right.
Anyone who tries to tell you aisle seats are the best are trying to BS you. The beer vendors are always in the way and people are always climbing over you.
When we get out of our seat we alternate which way we go. Once to the left and next to the right. That way no one gets too aggravated with us.
Use this photo for Aisle 209 instead

Tell it to Doggie Stalker a few comments up.
I've been in this exact situation where one of the seats in our group is blocked by the pole. Thats why I suggest seatdata. Like doggie stanker says, you cant ell if your exact seat is blocked, but why take a chance. If yousee a pole in your section and you arent sure how your seat will be effected then dont buy a ticket in that section ya know...
