We're experiencing technical difficulties!
Man! Just when the Cubbies have an offesive outburst, I can't see crap! I'd rather listen to WGN radio, in this case. I'm beginning to like comcast sports Chicago! time to head over to Cubs.com. Wow. I didn't realize that we're back at the minimum word or character limit again. I sure hope the picture returns soon! (Al, sorry for the add on! But I just wanted to vent!)

However, video JUST came back!

Yes, they should reimburse you.
When it's their fault. This one isn't Comcast's fault. It's WGN's.
Try getting money from them.

Ummm...
Does the electric company reimburse you when the power goes out??
No, it doesn't.
Rant, to make yourself feel better, but cable is a utility. Besides, it wasn't CATV's fault.
Extra Innings subscribers had FSN Pittsburgh to turn to....

Actually...
... ComEd DOES give you some relief in certain cases when the power goes out.
And if your cable is out for an extended period, damn right Comcast should give you a break on your bill.
This one was WGN's problem. And if you have EI, you could only watch the FSN Pittsburgh feed if you were out of the Chicago sphere of influence.

Power company rebate?
Things have changed in Illinois.... never would happen out here, nor would a CATV company rebate an outage. How could you claim you were harmed? You could lie and say "i was home" when you were not.

It's not quite that simple.
I think this mainly applies to businesses, such as restaurants, that lose refrigerated food during power outages, places like that.

on second thought...
I was hoping for WGN to air the game again later tonight or tomorrow. But that was when we were up 7 runs. Now, I'm not so sure I want to relive this one.

I don't think anyone does.
Just count the W, enjoy the day off, and move on!

I switched to extra innings when it happened. I would rather listen to Len and Bob with no video, than the pirates broadcasters with video. They were B-O-R-I-N-G!

With 15 consecutive losing seasons
it's tough to 'get up' for a broadcast. It's their job, and a great one - but it gets old trying to make up excitment...it's very challenging.
That's why ol' Jack Brickhouse was really something to behold during the lean, lean years. He still made the mid 50s (so I have been told) to the mid 60's (that I know about) Cubs interesting to watch....

Anyone else in Indy?
WGN has been a black screen off and on the last two times I've tried to watch at home. Luckily, my friendly neighborhood BW3's is 4 minutes away.
Unluckily, they have really good fried food.
