Went last night to see The Shark pitch
and he was just atrocious. Basically would walk the first one or two on each inning, and then the hits they got off of him were cranked. And yes, the remainder of the Smokies’ pitchers weren’t much better. In fact, I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen an opponent square up on pitches like that batter after batter. Frankly, by about the 3rd inning, it was comical.

Jeff Samardzija
The hype has severely outpaced the development and performance on the mound. It’s gotten to the point where his potential to crack the major leagues some day has to be questioned. Frankly, I’m surprised the Cubs haven’t tried converting him to strictly relief duty.
Lou, stop being obstinate...bat Soriano # 6.

What hype? Seriously.
Nanika Ga Okoru!
Oh, and remember, folks: Alfonso Soriano is NOT batting leadoff. He's batting first.
