I'm not sure...

Fans on the field
The crowd as Wrigley is gaining the deserved reputation around baseball of being among the worst in the game. Not talking about the diehards (I was there Saturday) and the many people who act just fine. No, I’m talking the drunken frat boys and morons who run out onto the field, harass whole sections of the crowd, throw objects at outfielders, etc.
They should arm all Wrigley security personnel with tasers. You run out onto the field and you they taser you onto you scream in agony and wet yourself in front of the large audience.

LOL, yeah, tasers -- great idea!
That way, the Cubs could squander all sorts of revenue on the inevitable lawsuits that would follow. And, hey, wouldn’t it be fun to watch someone go into cardiac arrest in left field?
It doesn’t take a genius to see that those who run onto the field are complete and utter morons, but let’s not get carried away with the punitive measures. Next you’ll be calling for guard towers with snipers.

the rain delay adding an extra hour of drinking. I was there and he fell out of the bleachers pretty bad. Hes probably pretty sore today-—-that second security guard probably never thought hed get a cheer from the crowd like that.
Ill stop by tonight Al, if I can, Im in the bleachers this evening.

Let's not over react.....
...to the occasional person running on the field. It’s been going on for decades and is not THAT uncommon. When you makes blanket statements like “The crowd as Wrigley is gaining the deserved reputation around baseball of being among the worst in the game. ” you’re on a very frail limb.
Define “around baseball” and where can a measurement of this be found in print? We definitely have a rowdy crowd and we probably attract more people from all parts of the country than almost any other team. Going to a game at Wrigley is a big deal with 20 somethings everywhere; including bachelor and bachelorette parties. Wrigley, Fenway and Yankee stadium carry their own mystique as a cool place to be seen-as an almost mecca like pilgramage….the influx of visitors, the event itself, the continual full houses and the excitement in general make it rowdy-but as you said the regulars and die-hards are generally pretty cool. (i may have just made your point ) :c-)

I was in the RF bleachers yesterday and saw these guys early on, shirts off and an attempt to write CUBS on their chests. But there was only 3 of them so one had BS. After this happened his 2 other friends got tossed. Should of been an inning or two earlier in my mind.

Have you heard Woody Guthrie's obscure
song called “Jesse James”? (performed by himself?) It’s worth hunting down.
Even better than the traditional song “Jesse James” sung by the Pogues and others.
Any of the above on this soundtrack,, or did Cave and Ellis write all new material?
