Yu Darvish

I've seen some previous fanposts about the young pitcher out of Japan Yu Darvish. I also watched the ESPN2 documentary about Bobby Valentine and they gave Yu Darvish lots of praise. He looks like a great and very dominant pitcher and has taken over the Japanese League with full force. Last year his ERA was 1.89!

So, we know that this guy is a stud, but my question is what teams are interested in this kid and if he wants to go to the states at all? I wonder if the Cubs would be interested and whether we can afford that kind of player?

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of SB Nation, Bleed Cubbie Blue, or Al Yellon, editor-in-chief. FanPost opinions are, however, valued expressions of opinion by passionate and knowledgeable baseball fans.

That's not how we do things here.

The cubs.com message board is full of duplicate posts and clutter. One thing we try to do here is to minimize that by NOT posting a topic that’s just been done in detail in the last few days. This topic is one of those.

Thank you for understanding.

And here's...

...the most recent fanpost in question. Use the new and improved search function and mistakes like this are pretty easy to avoid.

Nanika Ga Okoru!

Oh, and remember, folks: Alfonso Soriano is NOT batting leadoff. He's batting first.

He'd be great...

to fill in the five spot in the rotation. I’d definitely like him.

5 Spot?

He’d be a 1b.

Jacque Jones is gone, and I doubt Ivan DeJesus would mind this!

A new Cub on the team!

Sorry it's taken so long, but on November 6 Colton Ryne Cribbs joined the family. He was 8 lbs. and Bleeds Cubbie Blue. He is our first, and we are very proud. Trivia time! First person that can guess who his middle name is named after wins a FREE WEEK of diaper duty!
