OT: 5/27 Game Help
I'm hoping for some help from someone in the BCB nation.
I'm turning the big 4-0 on the 27th. Originally I had planned to come up from Alabama to see the entire Dodgers series including the game on my birthday but unfortunately I have had to change my plans.
Is there anyone out there that knows they're going to the game on May 27th and would be willing to help me "be there" by proxy?
I'd send you a self-addressed envelope, disposable camera and a check to cover all the expenses. If you could get a program and find a ticket stub to include as well that would be awsome.
I really don't care what pics you decide to snap (all clean PLEASE LOL!) just various shots from around the field would be great.
I know this is a lot to ask but it would really mean a lot to me.
Just respond to the post and we'll work out the details
Thanks

can't help, but
may I suggest you look for someone who is going to be bringing their own digital camera? then they can just send you the files, or rather, print the pictures and send it with the program and ticket stub.
good luck!
I used to be "Jones," but I got swooped on the redesign.

Great idea
I was trying to make it as easy as possible.
If this works for whomever, that would be great.

Happy B-Day
I’d sing the song to you, but if I did, I’d clear the room of BCB members.

I'll be at that game, one way or another
By that I mean, I’ll either be outside patrolling the streets of Waveland, hoping that Andruw Jones hits two solo shots in a 5-2 Cubs victory. Or I’ll be inside watching the game and testing my Fukudome bobblehead doll, the giveaway for that game. Rumor has it that like Fukudome, his bobblehead is so fundamentally sound, his head won’t bobble when you tap it.
Either way, I’ll try to take some before, during and after game pictures, as well as get you a program and ticket stub. And if I snag a ball during batting practice that day, it’s yours. I kinda remember what it’s like to turn the big 4-0…

A bobblehead exhibits harmonic motion...
because of the spring inside it. So if Kosuke’s bobblehead is fundamentally sound it will oscillate at only one frequency (the fundamental) with no jitters (overtones).

Yeah count me in
We’ll be in Chicago that week on our honeymoon. We plan on getting to the game early to get good bleacher seats for ESPN. I’ll definitely send you the best pics I get that day. My wife doesn’t particularly like bobbleheads, so you can have our extra, as long as we get two (I wouldn’t see why not). So you should be set.
